Dirk Markham aka The Hemulen, Drock, dPak, systeme D, Disk is constantly re-reading The Manual by the KLF, which he regards as the only book worth reading. Despite this he is a long way from having a number one hit.
His music is mainly instrumental although occasionally the odd folk-rock song pops up out of nowhere.

Joshua Thurston-Milgrom, on contrabass and electronics, performs an original live soundtrack while screening Dziga Vertov’s Man With A Movie Camera.
This influential 1929 silent film employs a famously wide array of camera techniques to portray “life caught unawares,” filming the people, spaces, and machines of Soviet Odessa “without the aid of characters and without the aid of a story.”
The musical accompaniment of solo contrabass and real-time loops ranges, with the film, from ethereal atmospheres to driving rhythms, drawing on minimalism, electronica, and jazz as well as on traditional film music.
